What is the investment for a maternity session?
Families invest between $495-$750 for their maternity session, depending on the collection they choose. If you’re planning to preserve more than one milestone, exclusive bundle savings are available when reserving a Maternity & Newborn Collection or The First Year Collective, creating a seamless experience while documenting your family’s journey from pregnancy through baby’s first year.
When Should I Schedule Maternity Portraits?
The sweetest time for maternity portraits is typically between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. During this season, your bump is beautifully defined, while you’re often still feeling comfortable enough to move, pose, and truly enjoy the experience. I recommend reserving your session during your second trimester whenever possible, as it allows us plenty of time to plan every detail and ensures the best availability on my calendar. That said, if you’re already further along, please don’t let that stop you from reaching out. If I have availability, I will always do my very best to welcome you into my schedule.
Where do maternity sessions take place?
Maternity sessions may take place in my downtown Clarksville studio or outdoors during the beautiful evening light. Whether you’re drawn to the clean, timeless look of the studio or the natural beauty of an outdoor setting, we’ll choose the location that best reflects your family’s story and the vision you have for your portraits.
What should I wear?
Once your session is reserved, you’ll receive guidance to help you prepare with confidence. From flattering silhouettes to coordinating your family’s wardrobe, I’m here to help every step of the way. As an expecting mother, you’ll also have access to my carefully curated client wardrobe, featuring timeless maternity gowns selected specifically for photography.
Can my partner and children be included?
Absolutely. Maternity sessions are about celebrating your growing family, not just your pregnancy. Partners and children are always welcome and encouraged to be part of your session, creating meaningful images you’ll treasure for years to come.
When will we receive our photographs?
Your gallery will be delivered within approximately two weeks of your session. You’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery where you can download your images, share them with loved ones, and order professional heirloom artwork if you wish.
I’m nervous about being photographed. Will you help me with posing?
Nearly every mother tells me this before her session, and I want you to know that you don’t need to arrive knowing what to do. I’ll gently guide you through every pose and prompt from beginning to end, making small adjustments along the way to create images that feel both natural and flattering. My approach is relaxed, allowing you to simply enjoy this special season while I take care of the details. My goal is for you to leave your session feeling beautiful, confident, and excited to see your photographs.
